today...

{my night in a nutshell}

i am grateful that i work with one of my best friends,

that i record young and the restless every day,

and stock wine like the apocalypse is coming.

because some days...

i really want to be a housewife.

(i would be a really good housewife honey)

and some days...

i need my best friend around,

i need to come home and do something mindless,

and i really need a glass of wine.

it's almost the weekend, let's all hang in there!

ps. lilac nail polish helps too. it really does.

Dear 16 Year Old Me,

Thank you for keeping every note you ever wrote during biology. you have provided me with endless hours of laughter this weekend and inspiration for this post.

That guy...the one you are in love with...the one who cheated on you and you thought your life would end at that very moment...I may or may not know for a fact that he grew up to be very overweight. believe in karma.

I know you don't think so right now, but if you could put some sunscreen on then maybe you will look a little less like a 40 year old at 31.

One day...wine is going to taste very very good. So is coffee.

Listen to, love and learn from your friends...this group of girls will shape your life more than any else in your life.

Oh, and trash the button up shirt/jeans look asap. there will be photographic evidence later. it won't be pretty.
